Bring your history from Strong, Hevy or Alpha Progression
Export a CSV from your old app, then open Two Plates, go to Settings and choose Import CSV. Exports from Strong, Hevy and Alpha Progression open directly, and your dates, sets and PRs come with them. Importing is free.
1. Export from your old app
- Hevy: Profile, Settings, Export & Import Data, Export Data, then Export Workouts.
- Strong: use the CSV export in Strong's settings. Old and new Strong exports both work, from iPhone or Android.
- Alpha Progression: use its CSV data export.
Export in English. Exports with translated column names aren't supported yet.
2. Import into Two Plates
Open Settings and choose Import CSV, then pick the file. Before anything lands, a review step matches each incoming exercise to one of yours, so a Bench Press (Barbell) from your old app and your Bench Press become one history.
3. Check what came over
- Working sets come over with their dates, weights and reps. Drop sets and sets to failure come in as normal sets.
- Warm-up sets and cardio-only entries are left out, and the import tells you how many.
- Imports add to your log. Nothing you've logged in Two Plates is touched, and a bad import can be cleared on its own.
- If a lift still ended up under two names, merge them: Workouts, All exercises, the three dots, then Merge into. It can be undone.
Taking it with you
Settings, Export CSV gives you one CSV with every set you've ever logged: date, exercise, weight, reps, effort and notes. Export is free and always will be.
Another app, or a spreadsheet?
For a plan rather than a history, build it yourself for free, or have your AI convert it and paste it in, which is part of the one-time unlock. The app hands you the prompt. Support covers the rest.
